Reenactments of major battles from our history are a popular thing across America. These are large battle scenes that are put into action by men and women carrying out the acts of war that has happened in our past. The actors typically use Airsoft guns to portray the acts.

The Airsoft guns are also used by some people to play hunting games. A group of friends and family get together and try to find each other in the woods. It is a game of skill and expertise as they have to sneak into the area of one of their friends and claim a victim.
While dressed in full camouflage outfits, a group of family and friends get together on the outskirts of a heavily wooded area and make their plans. They set the boundaries as far as where they can hide and then disperse.
They will spread out in different directions and wait until a specific time has passed. Once the time has passed they begin their hunt. At this point the people that went into the woods as friends become the targets.
As a person finds one of their opponents, they shoot them with the Airsoft gun. This person is then out of the game. The last one that is left that has not been hit is deemed to be the winner.
While the Airsoft guns are safer than a regular ammunition gun, it is not to be thought of as completely safe. When you get hit with a rubber bullet from an Airsoft gun you are sure to feel the pain. You will feel a stinging sensation and you probably will end up with a bruise. Airsoft guns are not intended to be able to break the skin when it hits but if you shoot from a close enough range it is possible.
Just because the airsoft gun is being used for gaming, it should not be considered a toy. Children that you would not let handle an actual gun should not be allowed to handle these either. These guns can still be dangerous when they are not used in a safe manner.
While it may not be able to break the skin in most cases, it can damage a person’s eye if they get shot directly in it. Extreme caution should be used when using the airsoft guns as well as any other gun.
The Airsoft guns are a lot less deadly than a gun that operates with bullets. The reenactment of famous battles in our history would not be the same without them. The growing popularity of the Airsoft guns for gaming goes to show how great they truly are.
